Dr. Cheryl Kollin (pronounced Kohl-leen) is a licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Kollin earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has more than 15 years of experience in cancer treatments and research. Dr. Kollin is originally from California where she did cancer research at Rational Therapeutics in Long Beach with world renowned oncologist, Dr. Robert Nagourney MD. She published a number of abstracts on the use of chemosensitivity testing using primary human tumor spheroids. Dr. Kollin takes a comprehensive approach to cancer treatment. These principles are outlined in the treatment section. The short term goal is to stop making new tumors and to eliminate the current tumor burden in the body. Her long-term treatment strategy is to heal the body from the inside out by repairing the gut, enhancing the immune system, detoxifying the body, removing deleterious pathogens and enhancing mind-body awareness. Many modalities are employed including IV therapies, specialized equipment, colon hydrotherapy, nutrition, meditation and supplements. Dr. Kollin also holds a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, CT, and is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) and Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).

Dr. Larry Hellman is a native of Arizona. Very few people know that he was the last child born at the old St. Joseph Hospital. His father said that the building was condemned to insure another kid like Larry would never be born their again. Larry graduated from Prescott High School, Yavapai College and decided to do his patriotic chore and go to Viet Nam. Larry served 5 years in the U.S. Navy Sea Bees and 7 years as a USNR Recruiter. Larry spent 20 years as an entrepreneur back in the Prescott area. At age 45 Larry returned to school to pursue a lifelong calling into the medical field. Upon graduation from Grand Canyon University with a pre-med degree he was accepted into Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. He was awarded his doctorate in 2006. Larry practiced for 2 years as a student, studying cancer treatments, while in a fellowship at Naturopathic Family Care. Larry became part owner of Shea Wellness Group for 5 years where he was introduced to helping patients with pain without using medication. Ultimately Larry returned to the field of marketing and teaching about Natural medicine. He acted as the CEO and President of Natural Medicine Speakers. Larry is now playing a key role at Brio-Medical and serves as part of the medical staff in many capacities.

Cori was born and raised in Tempe, AZ. She is a second generation ASU Sun Devil. Cori graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree and continued her education in alternative /holistic therapies. Cori has been doing colon hydrotherapy since 2004 and she has acquired an immense wealth of knowledge about healing the gut naturally by keeping the bowels moving. Over the many years of helping patients improve their health with colon hydrotherapy, Cori began to understand the deep correlation between gut health and buried emotions. So she went back to school to receive her certificate in hypnotherapy. By combining mind body meditation along with colon hydrotherapy Cori is able to greatly improve her patients overall wellness. Cori is thrilled to now being able to offer these treatments at Brio-Medical.

Payton Ringoen was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota. She loved growing up around family and having her roots in North Dakota, but after high school, she decided to trade the snow in for sunshine. She completed her Associates Degree in Nursing (RN) at Mesa Community College and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Upper Iowa University. In her free time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors, staying active, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
